You'll find competitively priced fresh produce and products in a Farmers' Market that you would never see in supermarkets. Farmers' Markets do not just sell fresh fruit, vegetable and meat. You'll find bread, cheese, fresh fish, cakes, jams and chutneys - even healthy ready meals and much more. Our stallholders can tell you where and how the products they sell were farmed or processed. By shopping at Farmers' Markets you're helping to maintain the viability of local farmers and so sustaining and protecting our countryside. You're using up fewer food miles, so you are helping to protect the environment too.Farmers' Markets are fun and relaxing, just the place to meet up with friends. |

The thousands of pages list original content on Pub History, Census and Trade Directory entries from the Post Office , Kelly and Pigots Directories, Petty Session Victuallers records etc. for the last two hundred years. The public houses, taverns, beer houses & beer retailers (the early off licences) are listed by church parish as they would have existed before 1900, as many of these are no longer in existence. Use this site, and the search engine, to discover the areas of London and the Home counties during this time. |
